Coaching for Second-Time Moms Who Are Done Bracing for Less

You built a career, a marriage, and a life you actually like. Now everyone's telling you baby number two means putting all of it on hold.

Round Two is 6 months of 1:1 coaching for high-achieving moms who are pregnant with their second or just had them, and who have no interest in becoming a martyr to make it work.

Fully online, wherever you are in the world. More capacity. More connection. More of who you actually are.

You're Allowed To Do Motherhood Differently

You're Allowed To Do Motherhood Differently

A day in Your home

6:12am. You were up at 2, 3:40, and 5. Your oldest climbs into bed asking for pancakes. You lie there running your calendar in your head and thinking, I used to be the most organized person I knew.

7:50am. Daycare drop-off. The baby finally dozed off in the car seat, and you're already doing the math. If this counts as the morning nap, the whole day shifts. And if the baby's schedule falls apart, so does the break you were counting on.

9:30am. Your boss emails about your return date. You loved your job before this. You still do. You just can't picture how it fits with two, and nobody around you seems to think it should.

12:15pm. You catch yourself in the mirror. Your body is recovering differently this time, slower, and there's zero time to deal with it. You close the bathroom door for 90 seconds just to breathe.

2:00pm. Your mom was supposed to come for two weeks. She came for four days. The meal train from round one never started. Everyone assumes you've "done this before."

5:40pm. The baby is cluster feeding. Your oldest wants you to do bath, not Dad. You're doing the math on two daycares and quietly deleting the girls' trip from your mental calendar. And the family vacation. And maybe the career.

8:15pm. Your oldest cries, "You're always with the baby." You lie next to them in the dark, and underneath the guilt is the thought you'd never say out loud: right now, I feel closer to one of them.

10:30pm. Your partner says he's overwhelmed. He's still wrapping his head around going from one to two, and you're carrying his adjustment on top of your own. You're too tired to have the fight. But it's there.

11:48pm. Finally, quiet. You scroll past a mom of two on vacation, laughing, looking like herself. And you wonder where you went.

The Things You Haven't Said to Anyone

"I miss when it was just the three of us."

"I actually want to go back to work. Why does that feel like something I have to hide?"

"If he says I'm tired too one more time, I'm going to lose it."

"We can't afford a second. Or maybe we can. I honestly don't know, and I'm scared to look."

"I don't recognize my body, and I don't have time to care."

"I'm good at hard things. Why can't I figure this out?"

"What if I made a mistake?"

If even one of those made your stomach drop, you're not a bad mom. You're a capable woman who's been handed a script that says this season is about sacrifice. That the "good" moms give everything up. And nobody's shown you another option.

Harder Doesn't Have to Mean Less

The program

The 6-Month Program

Six months, one area at a time, so this season makes you more instead of less.

  • Month 1: You, First. Name what you're not willing to lose.

  • Month 2: Your Partnership. Trade the who's-more-tired debate for a plan you both agreed to.

  • Month 3: Your Support. Ask for specific help, and get a yes.

  • Month 4: Your Oldest. Build connection that fits inside a real two-kid week.

  • Month 5: Your Standards. Keep the rules that are yours. Drop the rest.

  • Month 6: Your Next Chapter. Make the work, childcare, and money calls from clarity.

12 private sessions, a new tool each month, and a personal playbook you keep long after we're done.

Hi, I'm Alexa. I've Heard Every One of Those Thoughts.

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and a coach for second-time moms. For years, I've sat with moms in pregnancy and postpartum while they said the things they couldn't say anywhere else. The guilt. The grief. The rage they were ashamed of. The quiet fear that they'd made a mistake.

Here's the important part: in Round Two, I'm your coach, not your therapist. My clinical training shapes how deeply I understand what you're going through. But Second Time Mom Co is a coaching business, completely separate from any therapy practice, and our work together is coaching only.

I'm also a mom of two, so I know this season from the inside.

And I'm not the crunchy mom account. I don't care how you feed your baby or whether you sleep train. I love my kids, I love daycare drop-off, and I don't measure my worth as a mom by the minutes I spend with them. I care that you still have a career, friends, and a life you like when this season settles.

Coaching lets me take everything I know clinically and point it forward. Less "why is this so hard." More "what do you want, and how do we get you there."

Who it's for

Round Two Is for You If...

  • You're pregnant with your second, or they're already here

  • You're used to being good at hard things, and this season is making you doubt that

  • You have a career, friends, and interests, and you're planning to keep them

  • Your partner is struggling with the jump from one to two, and you're carrying both of you

  • You got less help this time than you were promised

  • You're done hearing it only gets harder, and you want proof it doesn't have to

  • You want a real plan and follow-through, not just a place to vent

Round Two Isn't for You If...

  • You believe a good mom gives up everything for her kids (no judgment, we'd just drive each other nuts)

  • You're looking for sleep, feeding, or parenting tips. Plenty of great people do that. I'm here for you.

Round Two is coaching, not therapy. It doesn't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you need therapy, I'm happy to point you toward the right support.

What Others are Saying

“Alexa is intuitive and thoughtful. She helped me see my own strengths so clearly — I finally feel proud of how I'm showing up in this next chapter of motherhood, on my own terms."

-Kathia Aviles (mom of 3)

“Alexa understands the transition between havine one to two kids from a personal and a professional lense. She made the transition of having multiple kids so much more manageable.”

-Joann Yang (mom of 2)
